Post Malone is the stage name of the American singer, rapper, and record producer Austin Richard Post, who became widely recognized as an up-and-coming internet hip hop artist after the release of his song "White Iverson" in February 2015. On December 9th, 2016, the singer released his debut album Stony, with features from Justin Bieber, Kehlani, Quavo and 2 Chainz.
Online History
On July 19th, 2015, Post Malone released his music video for White Iverson on Youtube[4]. As of August 2017, the video has over 390 million views.
Post Malone is known to be friends with Ethan Klein of H3H3Productions and has been featured in both podcasts and videos from their Youtube channel.[5] On January 29th, 2017, H3H3Productions uploaded their first video featuring Post Malone, titled “Making Music with Post Malone” as of August 2017, the video has reached over 5 million views. In the video, Post Malone declared his love of memes. Klein has since released multiple videos, vlogs, and podcasts with the singer.
On July 22th, 2017, H3H3Productions accused Jake Paul of doxing Post Malone by revealing his address in a Youtube video. The video reached over 6 million views in just one month.

Photoshopped images of Post Malone’s face onto various objects started to spread mid July 2017. The majority of the photoshopped Malone are puns that play on his stage name. On August 23rd, 2017, Post Malone complained about the Post Malone pun memes on twitter by writing "im gonna change my name to post orange so NONE OF YALL CAN RHYME IT." The tweet gained over 200,000 likes and 70,000 favorites in less than 24 hours.

Personal Life
Austin Richard Post was born in Syracuse, New York, on July 4th, 1995. Post first began producing music at 16 on FL Studio and created his first mixtape. After graduating from Grapevine High School he enrolled at Syracuse University but dropped out after a few months to pursue music in Los Angeles. In February 2015, Post uploaded the song “White Iverson” to his SoundCloud[6] and quickly received attention from record labels before finally signing with Republic Records.
