"Ahhh! I need a medic bag!" is a memorable quote uttered by the character Dallas in the 2011 first-person shooter game Payday: The Heist and the 2013's Payday 2. The quote has inspired numerous parodies and remixes featuring the video game character and his quotes.

Origin

On October 18th, 2011, Payday: The Heist was digitally released by Sony Entertainment for the PlayStation 3 in North America, followed by a PC release two days later. In-game, the player can hear to Dallas says the quotes when he's badly injured^[1].

On March 3th, 2017, YouTuber Cody D. Buni posted a video of isolated audio of the quote. The post (shown below) received more than 141,000 views in a year and a half.

The following week, on March 13th, YouTuber flowXV posted the video "A MIDI soundfont but it's Dallas from PAYDAY 2 requesting a medic bag." The video (shown below, left) received more than 12,000 views as of August 2018.

On May 18th, 2017, Redditor ^[2] user CuddlesMcFluffles posted about the meme in the /r/paydaytheheist subreddit.

Several months later, on July 13th, 2017, YouTuber MarioInATopHat posted a remix of the quote set to the Kanye West song "Flashing Lights." The post (shown below, right) received more than 400,000 views in one year.

Several months later, on August 25th, 2017, YouTuber Eziam One posted a musical version of the quote. The post (shown below) received more than 21,000 views.
