Sometime on or before August 6th, 2024, an alleged video of YouTuber Amberlynn Reid leaked online which was a "feeder" fetish video she made with Crumbl Cookies. The video was discussed en masse on the /r/Amberverse__[1] subreddit on the day. Users there linked to Imgur[2] with screengrabs of the video, showing Reid holding Crumbl Cookies (shown below). The screencap was notably used by YouTuber[3] Lex, who claimed to be Reid's ex-best friend, in the thumbnail of a Q&A video about Reid that was uploaded on August 6th.

In the following days, more posts about the alleged leak surfaced online, like on August 7th, 2024, X[4] user @BbThiThe tweeted about it, receiving 21 likes in five months.
On October 16th, 2024, Redditor[5] 13_Thirteen shared a screenshot of Amberlynn Reid's Instagram story to the subreddit /r/Amberverse__ in which she acknowledged the Crumbl Cookie video by sharing screencaps from it, gaining over 720 upvotes in three months (shown below).
Posts about the video amped up heading into January 2025, evident in a post shared by Redditor[6] mellowcat4 to /r/Amberverse__ on December 31st, 2024, which showed Google's suggested trending searches, allegedly including a query about Amberlynn Reid's Crumbl Cookie video. The post received over 610 upvotes in 10 days (shown below).

On January 9th, 2025, Amberlynn Reid posted a YouTube[7] video called "the truth behind my crumbl cookies video…." in which she addressed the situation, receiving over 27,000 views in a day (shown below).
