About
Avisem X, Avise, Vadia or Diga A X (Tell X in English) refers to a series of image macro memes based on well-known tales, famous stories and Brazilian folklore characters calling out someone or something who did them wrong to let them know they are ready for revenge. Examples include an image of a sphinx cat smoking a cigar paired with the overlay text "Tell Schrödinger That I Survived," which is used to indicate's the cat's wish for revenge against the Austrian physicist Erwin Schrödinger. The meme series and phrasal templates were popularized on iFunny around March 2021, spreading to Twitter a few months later.
