On September 20th, 2024, TikToker[1] tompowell posted a video in which he baked a cookie in the shape of his "long distance bf" because he missed him, gaining over 315,000 likes in five days.

At one point in tompowell's video, he holds up the cookie after taking a bite out of its "head." The shot inspired redraws online over the following week. This was aided by a September 22nd, 2024 Twitter[3] post by FishsPencil who called it an "OTP" template in a tweet that gained over 9,800 retweets and 58,000 likes in three days.
On September 23rd, 2024, TikToker[2] @mikoraou redrew the template using Jujutsu Kaisen characters, gaining over 62,000 likes in two days.
Also on the 23rd, Twitter[4] user @FINALBIOHAZARD drew the template with Shadow and Sonic, gaining over 2,600 retweets and 18,000 likes in two days.
