Beetlejuice Eating is a reaction image macro of American actor, comedian and radio personality Beetlejuice eating at a table and looking at something out of frame.

Origin

On September 23rd, 2016, Beetlejuice posted the photograph of himself eating on his Instagram ^[1] page. He captioned the photograph, "Breakin some mo fckn bread." The post received more than 6,900 likes in less than three years (shown below).

Spread

On November 2nd, 2016, Twitter ^[2] user @sha_not_shay tweeted the photograph with the caption "When somebody starts coughing while you're eating…" Several months later, on February 15th, 2017, Twitter^[3] user @Fleimkepa tweeted the meme and received more than 2,200 retweets and 2,100 likes in less than three years (shown below, left).

On October 20th, 2018, Redditor ^[4] MalTeleVision posted the image with the caption "When you and you're legionnaire buddy's are chilling in northern Italy and you all suddenly hear elephants sounds." The post received more than 2,400 points (98% upvoted) in nine months (shown below, center).

The following year, Redditor^[5] omababa posted the image in the /r/dankmemes subreddit. They captioned the image, "When you eating at the restaurant and see Gordon Ramsay walk in." The post received more than 12,000 points (96% upvoted) and 95 comments in five months (shown below, right).

On March 13th, Tumblr ^[6] user karrtia reblogged a pair of memes about the video game Portal that use the image. The post received more than 44,000 notes in less than six months (shown below).
