Billy Ray Cyrus "Much to Think About" Tweet is a reaction image macro series featuring a tweet by recording artist Billy Ray Cyrus. The tweet shows Cyrus looking lost in thought under the caption "much to think about."

Origin

On June 8th, 2015, Cyrus tweeted,^[1] "Much to think about." He included the photograph of himself looking down with a driveway and large hedges in the background. The post received more than 172,000 likes and 125,000 retweets in about five years (shown below).

Spread

Following the post, the tweet became the subject of many jokes. For example, BuzzFeed ^[2] published an article about the tweet.

Over the next few years, people continued to use the post as a reaction. On December 9th, 2017, Twitter^[3] user @AndreaRussett retweeted^[3] the image with the caption "big mood", receiving more than 10,000 likes and 1,700 retweets in less than three years (shown below, left). On September 25th, 2018, Twitter^[4] user @emiewi tweeted, "me when the restaurant has more than one vegan option." The tweet received more than 50,000 likes and 7,300 retweets in less than two years (shown below, center). Later that year, Twitter^[5] user @leoneltudo tweeted the image with the caption, "yo pensando que mierda voy hacer en el 2019" (English: "I thinking what the hell am I going to do in 2019"). The tweet received more than 21,000 likes and 6,700 retweets in less than two years (shown below, right).
