On March 16th, 2024, the entertainment site Complex[1] posted an article titled "Bruno Mars might be in some hot water with MGM," detailing a rumor that the singer "owed millions to the MGM [Resorts International]" and that the debt "is as high as $50 million."

That same day, the X[2] page @PopCrave posted about Bruno Mars' gambling debt (seen below), which amassed more than 11 million views and 39,000 likes in a year.

On March 18th, 2024, MGM[3] then denied the reports about Bruno Mars' $50 million gambling debt, releasing the following statement:

"Any speculation otherwise is completely false; he has no debt with MGM. Together, we are excited to continue creating unforgettable experiences for our guests."
