About

Candace Tattling On Characters refers to an exploitable meme template where Candace from the Disney cartoon Phineas and Ferb points and yells for mom because different characters inserted into the meme are smoking weed or Zaza. The screencap and catchphrase is from the show's intro and song. The meme template was created on Tumblr in 2020.

Origin

In the opening title sequence and song of Phineas and Ferb, Candace, the older sister of the duo, points down at Phineas and Ferb and says, "Mom, Phineas and Ferb are making a title sequence!" This happens at the 0:50-minute mark of the opening (shown below).

On June 30th, 2020, Tumblr[1] user murdernachos posted a meme that referenced the quote from Candace, inserting her into the family's backyard and having her point at the My Little Pony character Rainbowdash, shouting, "mom rainbowdash is smoking weed." The meme received roughly 4,900 notes over the course of two years (shown below).
