Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz-inator refers to a two-panel image macro series featuring screenshots of the character Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz from the American animated series Phineas and Ferb. These memes utilize a running joke from the series in which Doofenshmirtz frequently adds the suffix "-inator" to commonly known subjects (similar to Whomst, Tuxedo Winnie the Pooh and Drakeposting).

Origin

The earliest known usage of the format was posted by Redditor ^[1] YoLeo_ posted two images of Doofenshmirtz, one of which him appearing disappointed by the words "Time Machine," and in the other, Doofenshmirtz is excited by the words "Time Travelinator," which better fits his character's running joke. The post received more than 16,000 points (97% upvoted) and 90 comments in two days (shown below).
