Carson Shearer's Dance or Car.shearer's Dance refers to a viral video of TikTok user car.shearer doing an unusual dance. Starting in late July 2020, the video gained popularity as source material for edits on Twitter and Instagram.

On July 21st, TikTok[1] user car.shearer (Carson Shearer) uploaded a video of himself dancing to "Collard Greens" by SchoolboyQ, with the dance being slightly sped-up for humorous effect. The video received over 1.3 million views and 341,000 likes in one week (shown below).

On July 24th, Twitter[8] user @trashtherental reuploaded the video, with the clip gaining over 3.1 million views, 40,600 retweets and 190,200 likes in five days. On July 25th, Twitter[9] user @JohnnyLockson posted the video, writing "Characters in turn base rpgs waiting to attack." The tweet received over 13,100 retweets and 51,800 likes in four days (shown below).

On June 26th, content creator DitzyFlama tweeted[2] an Are Ya Winning, Son? meme edit based on the clip, with the video accumulating over 315,900 views, 8,200 retweets and 36,000 likes in three days (shown below).

On July 27th, DitzyFlama[3] posted a Rhythm Heaven Fever meme based on the clip which received over 95,400 views, 3,000 retweets and 13,100 likes in two days. Later on the same day, DitzyFlama[4] tweeted a green screen for the meme.

Following the green screen tweet, the clip gained popularity as source material for edits on Twitter and Instagram. For example, on July 27th, 2020, Twitter[5] user @RedMufflerMan posted a Street Fighter meme which received over 136,900 views, 7,700 retweets and 20,100 likes (shown below).

On Instagram, notable edits were posted by cyranek,[6] marsonevevo[7] and other users.
