Centaur Adam Driver refers to a Burberry fragrance ad featuring actor Adam Driver who morphs into a centaur (a half-horse, half-human creature) over the course of the ad. The ad inspired jokes and thirst on social media.
Origin
On July 27th, 2021, Twitter user @FilmUpdates posted Adam Driver's new ad for Burberry. It shows him running to the sea with a horse while "Two Weeks" by FKA Twigs plays. Over the course of the ad, he morphs into a centaur and emerges from the water (shown below).

The ad quickly inspired thirst tweets and jokes on Twitter. User @adamdriversputa posted a video joking about Driver's ad, gaining over 650 retweets and 4,100 likes (shown below, top). User @darkrisinglight posted a video about Adam Driver fans buying Burberry fragrance, gaining over 200 retweets and 1,000 likes (shown below, bottom).
