Cooking Reaction Duets refers to redraws of TikTok duets of a woman reacting to a cooking video. In the video, the woman is pleased when she sees a woman cooking food with her breasts prominent in frame, and shows disappointment when the camera only shows food. The video grew popular in October of 2024 on Twitter / X among artists who used it as inspiration for redraw memes.
Origin
On November 10th, 2022, TikTok[1] user @eden.gross uploaded a duet of herself reacting to @peachmangojuice777's cooking video. When @peachmangojuice777 is on screen, @eden.gross smiles, and when only shows food, @eden.gross looks disappointed. The video received over 20 million views in two years (shown below).

On October 12th, 2024, Twitter / X[2] user @stolenmylove reposted @eden.gross's video and received over 48,000 reposts and 202,000 likes in ten days.
Starting in October 2024, the video grew popular among artists on Twitter / X who used it as a redraw reference. For example, on October 15th, 2024, Twitter / X[3] user @_aendee uploaded fan art of Mizi and Sua from the Alien Stage webseries. The post received over 12,000 reposts and 79,000 likes in one week (shown below).
