Features

A majority of the account's content is based on screenshots of subreddits, Discord messages, YouTube thumbnails and 4chan threads related to cringy interactions and embarrassing losses endured by "Crypto Bros." The account's success is in tune with a general hatred for NFT and crypto success that many online feel is a "flash in the pan" trend due to unnecessity. Memes related to this general bias include Screenshotting NFTs, NFT Stands For… and outrage over Twitter's Hexagonal Profile Pictures, among others.

Following

Over the course of one year, the Crypto Bros Taking Ls Twitter account amassed roughly 457,600 followers.

Proving again the claim that all crypto did so far is to provide a speedrun summary on why our financial system evolved to be the way it is.

Guess fucking what "decentralized currencies without any national oversight" already existed. In fact it's older than any of our currencies we have right now. IN FACT central banks were created SPECIFICALLY to stop the constant chaos and economic crashes those many decentralized banks created.

Why do you think paper money are called "bank notes"? They were literally IOUs just paper that said "the bank owes you this much money" and since an IOU of a bank worth 1 gold bar can by extend be worth 1 gold bar by itself people just traded the IOUs directly and never accessed the gold… you know… kinda like bitcoin/NFTs. And because those banks now saw people only ever trading IOUs and never accessing gold, those banks started selling their gold and never actually had enough if people would actually try to access their accounts. Rugpulls, pyramid schemes and pump and dumps all over the place.

Central Banks due to governmental oversight are now forced to have a certain minimum amount of ACTUAL money on hand.

NFT's would never work. The Bitcoin you mine is valuable, someone else wants it. NFT's never had value because no one's going to want to buy that ugly ass ape from you. Even something that's actually valuable (In theory) like Jack Dorsey's first Tweet Screenshotted, only got like $10K from its multi Million dollar asking price. Your apes were always worthless.

This makes me happy because it makes that NFT cartoon (Yeah, they made a couple episodes of The Bored Ape show) look real ridiculous….I mean, MORE ridiculous since that entire show had a smug "I'm better than you" feeling aimed at people who don't own NFT's.
