The screenshot was shared in late June 2026 and became the subject of discourse and memes. As a meme, the profile pictures are edited to represent different people and characters hanging out in the living room, with the one on the chair being portrayed as an "e-sex cuck."

Origin

On June 24th, 2026, X^[1] user @discord posted a screenshot of a virtual living room with three Discord profile pictures, each representing a Discord user, sitting around on the chairs in the room. The post reads, "we're experimenting with a new way to hang out in vc. thoughts?" and garnered over 87,000 likes and 9,200 reposts in a day.

Reportedly, the living room layout is a real feature being tested, however, the post appears to be a clear cuck chair joke.^[2]

Shortly after the post was made, X users began reacting to the chair in the screenshot, positioned across from and facing the couch, as a cuck chair for observing e-sex.

One of the earliest reactions was posted that day, June 24th, by X^[3] user @saltydkdan, writing, "E-sex cuck chair," gaining over 32,000 likes in two days.

Spread

The Discord Living Room Hangout post continued to be the subject of reactions and memes over subsequent days, many related to the e-sex cuck chair.

On June 24th, 2026, X^[4] user @ posted, "Why is the chair positioned like that," garnering over 94,000 likes in two days. On June 25th, X^[5] user @operagxofficial posted an edit placing Geoff Keighley in the cuck chair, and Hideo Kojima and Norman Reedus on the couch, garnering over 33,000 likes in a day.

Later that night, X^[6] user @phisnom posted a version of the meme replacing the Discord users with characters from the video game Deltarune, garnering over 2,500 likes in under a day.
