Discord Sex Hack refers to a feature on Discord where sending a trending GIF then the message "s/e/x," turns the GIF into a four-panel, still He Will Never meme captioned "WTF DISCORD SEX / ? WTF ? SEX ???" The feature was shared by a Twitter user in May 2022, leading many others online to try the feature and post about their results.

Origin

On May 3rd, 2022, Twitter^[1] user @rebane2001 posted a tutorial on how to activate the Discord sex hack (shown below). The post gained over 2,200 likes and 550 retweets in a week.

3. Type in chat: "s/e/x" (without quotes) and SEND

By following the instructions, the sent GIF will convert into a four-panel meme using the "He Will Never" format (example shown below, left). The top panel offers instructions on how to do the hack and the GIF is shown as a still image macro in the third panel, captioned, "WTF DISCORD SEX / ? WTF ? SEX ???" By typing and sending "s/e/x" again the meme deep fries and the captioned "ULTRA DOUBLE SEX ACTIVATED ??? HOW" (shown below, right).

By typing and sending "s/w/ag" after performing the hack, the image converts into a playable chess game, where pieces can be moved on the board using similar written commands (shown below, left). Occasionally the sex hack will give users a fake pop-up message that reads, "You Are The 6969th Discord Sexer Congratulations You Won! Click here to do nothing" (shown below, right).

The hack was shared over the following days, along with examples of it. On May 8th, 2022, Twitter^[3] user @ventus_paladyn posted that they tried to do the hack and got the "6969th" message. On the same day, YouTuber^[4] APERTURE2056 [AEC] posted a video showcasing the hack, gaining over 1,500 views in two days. Twitter^[5] user @_arenio commented on the origin post attempting to explain how the hack works, hypothesizing that the command reroutes the image through a website called "txnor," writing:

x/ replaces it with x
tenor → txnor

the creator of this has created a website called "txnor", and scraped all of its trending content with the information you inputted before. this creates the glitch. have fun.

Typing "txnor.com" into a web browser leads the user to the origin tweet by @rebane2001. On May 9th, 2022, MEL Magazine^[2] published an article titled "BLESS THE SUPREME DUMBNESS OF THE DISCORD SEX HACK" discussing the hack.
