Togore Dreemurr is the name of a fake character in the Undertale and Deltarune video game universe, said to be the middle child of Asgore Dreemurr and Toriel. Alternatively, Torogre is said to be the possible alternate name of their child, Asriel. The joke stems from Asriel's name, which combines the beginning of "Asgore" and the end of "Toriel," the joke being that Asriel could have been named Togore, an arguably uglier name. The earliest uses of the name in relation to Deltarune appeared online as early as November 3rd, 2015, on the /r/Undertale subreddit. The meme became increasingly popularized online in July 2025.

Origin

The earliest known meme about Asgore and Toriel having a child named Togore was posted to the /r/Undertale^[1] subreddit on November 3rd, 2015, by Redditor u/Kuudayray. The post shares a comic from a now-deleted Tumblr user, flightpixel, about Asgore and Toriel naming their son, Asgore wanting to call him "Son."

That day, several Redditors, the first seemingly being u/AwfulPunBasedName, commented, suggesting that the name could be "Togore," a mashup of their names in the same vein as their child Asriel.

Spread

The idea that Asriel could have been named Togore spread as a meme over the following years. For example, on August 3rd, 2022, Redditor u/ThePenguinsBill posted a version of the Dramatic Crossroads meme to the /r/Undertale^[2] subreddit titled, "Could’ve been so much worse," garnering over 6,300 upvotes in three years.

Memes about the name saw a notable increase in virality in July 2025. For example, on July 24th, 2025, X^[3] user @ashlynxirl posted, "Carol watching Toriel about to name Kris 'Togore' bc Asriel is taken," garnering over 34,000 likes in four days.

On July 26th, TikToker^[4] @sunnygx4 posted a video about Togore that claims he is a character in the game, using a big-eyed pixel art sprite to represent the character, garnering over 119,000 views in three days. The sprite was purportedly made by X^[5] user and artist @Chapsti99794854 for the Roblox^[6] game Checho's Deltarune RP.

On July 27th, 2025, X^[7] user @fckthisdamnsite posted a meme using a Togore design inspired by the sprite reading, "Asgore & Toriel in 20 years when they accidentally open a dark world and the fetus they aborted years ago is all grown up and excitedly tries to re-enter the world that never wanted it," garnering over 2,500 likes in two days.

That same day, X^[8] user @Triki_Tr0y posted artwork of Togore, writing, "Togore the Dreemurr Middle Brother," garnering over 31,000 likes in two days.
