Do I Amuse You?, I Said Watch Yo Tone, or Watch Yo Tone MF refers to a series of GIF Captions to a scene from the movie Hoodwinked Too! Hood VS. Evil in which a character named the Giant^[2] uses his hand to slap a rhinoceros henchman.

Origin

Hoodwinked Too! Hood VS. Evil was released on April 29th, 2011,^[3] to very low scores from film critics and audiences.^[3][4][5] On November 1st, 2021, YouTuber Idvar uploaded a scene where the main character, Red Puckett, interrogates the Giant. In the scene, the Giant slaps his henchman, who bounces around the room like a pinball. As of December 7th, 2021, the video achieved over 1,100,000 views, 1,290 comments, and 57,000 likes (shown below).^[11]

The Giant: What witch? Which witch?
Rhino Henchman: Huh. Good one, boss.
The Giant: Did you just laugh at me? Do I amuse you? Am I some sort of clown to you?

On November 6th, 2021, YouTuber SunTheArtist uploaded a shorter segment that just includes the slap scene. As of December 7th, 2021, the video has earned over 170,000 views, 300 comments, and 10,000 likes (shown below).^[1]

On October 31st, 2021, YouTuber Leg The 4th created their own Source Filmmaker version with the title "[SFM] yo jordans fake, engineer tf2". The video uses Team Fortress 2 characters, Heavy as the Giant and Engineer as the rhino henchman. As of December 8th, 2021, the video attained over 65,000 views, 70 comments, and 6,300 likes (shown below, left).^[12] On November 7th, 2021, YouTuber SilentManJoe created their own version using Source Filmmaker, with Heavy as the Giant and Soldier as the rhino henchman. As of December 7th, 2021, the video has accumulated over 274,000 views, 390 comments, and 21,000 likes (shown below, right).^[10]

On November 13th, 2021, a Tenor GIF Caption was made of the scene with the title, "I said watch yo tone" (shown below).^[7]

On November 24th, 2021, Twitter user @GreatLange made a mock up parody of the scene using the Sonic's Chao Gardens in Sonic Adventure 2 and Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. For the characters, Dr. Eggman replaces the Giant and a Chao replaces the rhino henchman. As of December 7th, 2021, the animation has received over 2,000 retweets and 6,100 likes (shown below, left).^[8] On December 4th, 2021, Twitter user @LifeisDestiny added a GIF caption with the title "watch yo tone mf" to @GreatLange's work which gained over 10,400 retweets and 61,800 likes (shown below, right).^[9]
