About

I Be Poppin' Bottles, Sparkles and Champagne or Shannon Sharpe Fit Checks refers to a meme trend where a photo slideshow of football player and sports commentator Shannon Sharpe in fitted suits is shown alongside a caption about showing up somewhere composed and proud after doing something shameful or embarrassing. The meme, set to CJ SO COOL's song "Tired," became popularized on TikTok throughout March and April 2022. In 2023, the trend involved others posting stylized slideshows of themselves resembling Sharpe's poses and outfits, predominantly made using the app CapCut.
