Ethan Slater Dancing as SpongeBob, also known as Ethan Slater Singing "Bikini Bottom Day," refers to memes and jokes inspired by a viral video from the 2017 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade that features actor and singer Ethan Slater as SpongeBob SquarePants in SpongeBob The Musical on Broadway. The clip shows Slater dressed in brown pants, a yellow shirt and suspenders, singing, "This kind of day / couldn't get much better / but it keeps on trying," while wriggling his hips. On November 24th, 2017, the YouTube^[1] channel BroadwayTVArchive posted a clip of actor and singer Ethan Slater reprising his role as SpongeBob SquarePants and singing the song "Bikini Bottom Day" as part of the 91st Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. The video gathered over 1.2 million views in eight years.

On November 17th, 2025, X^[2] user @boboomf posted a clip from the aforementioned performance, showing Ethan Slater singing, "This kind of day couldn't get much better but it keeps on trying," before doing SpongeBob's classic "Nyahahah" laugh. The post gathered over 20,000 views and 400 likes in 10 days.
