Overview
Brittany Parsons' "Right Before I Called ICE" Post refers to a viral Facebook post of a white woman standing next to a person of color and the caption "Right before I called ICE on the whole pier." Many criticized the post, accusing the woman of racism.
Background
On July 12th, 2019, Brittany Parsons posted the image on Facebook,[1] claiming, perhaps sarcastically, that she would call immigration authorities on people of color at a pier in Key West, Florida. The post assumes the other people on pier are undocumented immigrants, referencing the ongoing dispute between Republican and Democratic Americans about immigration in the United States (shown below). The post received more than 4,500 reactions, 2,000 shares and 1,500 comments.

On July 28th, Redditor [2] spinelli420 posted the photograph in the /r/iamatotalpieceofshit subreddit. The post received more than 330 points *88% upvoted) and 125 comments in 24 hours.
According to DiscussGlobal.com,[3] some on social media referred to Parsons as "Border Patrol Brittany". Parsons responded to criticism by writing, "Good luck. Everyone may the game be in your favor you’ve all exposed yourself you should pray you aren’t illegal bc I got DEA FBI AND ICE messaging me" (shown below).
On July 28th, the website DeadState.org[4] published an article about the post. Many shared the article and expressed their opinions of Parsons, calling her a racist (examples below).
