Doomsdale was an event that fell on August 30th, 2026, signifying the date that YouTuber and Twitch streamer Low Tier God claimed that if he was still streaming by then, he would be considered a failure.

On August 30th, 2020, Low Tier God said during a livestream that if he was still streaming in six years, he would be a failure. Low Tier God's viewers reminded him of this date over the following years as it approached, and he continued to stream. The date of August 30th, 2026, was referred to by the community as "Doomsdale," a combination of the streamer's real name, Dalauan Sparrow, and the word "doomsday."

In the days leading up to and following August 30th, 2026, memes about Doomsdale grew in popularity as the event went viral online and discourse related to it spread widely on social media.

On August 30th, 2020, Low Tier God said during a stream, "If I'm still streaming six years later, I'm a failure." This was clipped and reuploaded online numerous times over the following years, as Low Tier God's viewers held him to the statement.

On May 23rd, 2026, YouTuber[2] Gene Starwind uploaded a clip from one of Low Tier God's 2026 streams where he responds to a chatter who presumably asked him about his "six years later" comment. The video gained over 328,000 views in three months.

In the clip, Low Tier God says he doesn't care about the statement he made and boasts about his accomplishments. He says that the chatters wish that they could stream for a living and berates them.



As the date neared, the website doomsdale.com[3] launched. The site counted down to Doomsdale using a doomsday-like clock for the event.
