Overview
Drake's Iceman Structure or Drake's Iceman Blocks is a publicity stunt and viral markeing campaign promoting rapper Drake's 2026 album Iceman, in which a structure made up of large ice blocks, one of which hides the release date for the album, was set up in downtown Toronto, Canada, the idea being that the release date will be revealed when the ice blocks melt. Drake shared the location of the structure, which is on the corner of Dundas and Bond St., on April 20th, 2026.
The Iceman structure inspired significant media and social media attention as people flocked to see it and attempted to melt or destroy the structure to get the release date early. Many videos and images showing people destroying the structure are AI-generated memes. Twitch streamer Kishka notably started a fire on top of the structure and managed to knock a block off the top on stream, going viral. The incident reportedly inspired a temporary police presence at the structure.
On April 21st, streamer Kishka found a blue bag in one of the ice blocks. He opened the bag at Drake's Toronto mansion, revealing a May 15th, 2026 release date for Iceman.
Background
On April 20th, 2026, Drake posted the coordinates to a location in Toronto, Ontario, at the corner of Dundas and Bond Street on his Instagram Story. The Story is captioned, "Release Date Inside." At the location is a pyramid-like structure made out of large ice blocks.[1] There is a sign posted near the structure that reads, "Any contact with the structure is at your own risk.”
