#FerrellTakesTheField

Overview
#FerrellTakesTheField is a charitable event in which comedian actor Will Ferrell[1] aims to raise awareness of the cancer survivor scholarship Cancer For College[2] by playing all nine different positions for 10 different Major League Baseball teams in a single day.
Background
On March 10th, 2015, Will Ferrell announced that he would be playing all 9 positions in 10 different Major League Baseball[4] games as a part of a new baseball-themed special for the web series Funny Or Die and set to premiere on HBO in the summer. The following day, Ferrell revealed that the special would be dedicated to battling cancer via the Cancer for College charity organization. On March 12th, 2015, Ferrell traveled to Arizona and played in five Spring Training games in which he played in all 9 fielding positions and umpired for ten different teams during the span of the day. In each game, he wore the jersey number 19. During the event, MLB created a player profile page for Will Ferrell to detail his stats.
