Influencer Boxing refers to boxing matches set up between influencers and other influencers or professional fighters. Some of the most prevalent names in influencer boxing include Jake Paul, Logan Paul, KSI Austin McBroom of the Ace Family, and iDubbbz.

History

KSI vs. Joe Weller

In August 2017, musician Joe Weller defeated his first amateur boxing opponent. Shortly after, KSI offered himself as Weller's next opponent, releasing a diss track about Weller on August 24th of that year that gained over 28 million views in five years (shown below, left). On February 3rd, 2018, KSI fought against Weller at Copper Box Arena in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. KSI won the fight in the third round. He uploaded the fight to YouTube the next day, garnering over 22 million views in four years (shown below, right).^[1]

Logan Paul vs. KSI / Jake Paul vs. Deji

On August 25th, 2018, influencer Jake Paul fought against influencer Deji in an amateur boxing match as the undercard to a fight between Logan Paul and Deji's brother KSI. Deji lost the fight to Jake Paul in the fifth round (shown below, left). Logan Paul and KSI's match ended in a technical draw (shown below, right). The fight took place at Manchester Arena in England.

Logan Paul vs. KSI Rematch

On November 9th, 2019, KSI and Logan Paul held a rematch fight at the Staples Center, attracting over 12,000 attendees and selling over 200,000 pay-per-view tickets. KSI won the match (shown below).

YouTubers vs. TikTokers / Social Gloves

On June 12th, 2021, the YouTubers vs. TikTokers event took place at Hard Rock Stadium in Florida. The event featured a number of YouTubers fighting TikTokers, with a title card match between Ace Family's Austin McBroom for the YouTUbers and TikToker Bryce Hall. Undercard fights included AnEsonGib vs. Tayler Holder, Vinnie Hacker vs. Deji and FaZe Jarvis vs. Michael Le. Notably, McBroom defeated Hall by technical knockout in the third round (shown below, left) and Hacker defeated Deji (shown below, right).

Showstar UK vs. USA

On March 5th, 2022, the Showstar UK vs. USA event took place, pitting influencers from the UK and USA between each other. The main event saw Deji fight Alex Wassabi. The fight lasted five rounds, with Deji ultimately defeated by Wassabi (shown below).

iDubbbz' "Creator Clash"

Creator Clash is an influencer boxing event set up by YouTuber iDubbbz and his wife Anisa Jomha. The event, taking place in Florida on May 14th, 2022, features a headlining fight between iDubbbz and influencer Dr. Mike, with undercard fights including influencers like Harley from Epic Meal Time, Egoraptor, AB of the H3 Podcast, Matt Watson from SuperMega and Dad. On the night of the event, Dr. Mike defeated iDubbbz by unanimous decision

KSI vs. Swarmz

On August 27th, 2022, KSI will fight influencer Swarms at The O2 arena in London, UK.^[2] The undercard for the fight, presented by Keemstar's boxing promo company Happy Punch, features fights from influencers including Sam Hyde, Salt Papi, Faze Sensei and Fousey. Happy Punch promoted the fight on July 15th on Instagram, garnering over 19,000 likes in a month (shown below).
