Overview

Kirbopher / SuperPsyGuy / CrikeyDave / Sexual Abuse Allegations refer to several different allegations made over a decade and a half by multiple fans, co-workers, and partners relating to Christopher Niosi, Bryon Beaubien, and Dave Smith, with KaiserNeko of TeamFourStar and LittleKuriboh of YuGiOh: Abridged being named as covering up for them. Though those accused have admitted to different degrees of abuse in the past, the document posted by Tara Welker alleged that there was more abuse and Grooming taking place before and after their previous admitted apologies.

Background

The accused group, Kirbopher, SuperPsyGuy, and CrikeyDave, were all very active in fan animation and content scene in the early to late 2000s, through Tumblr and Newgrounds, as well as on the SuperPsyGuy owned website Fireball20xl. In September 14th, 2015, the Medium post created by Pixelated Diglett^[1] was one of the first callouts of the group, with SuperPsyGuy and CrikeyDave being directly named as grooming not only the OP but several others, with Kirbopher being mentioned within the post as well.

Developments

2023 MegaDoc

On August 7th, 2023, longtime chronicler Tara Welker^[5] uploaded a document highlighting things that she claims were previously undisclosed and the abusers did not account for. The post also mentioned LittleKuriboh and KaiserNeko as accomplices in the abuse by not only knowing about the behavior of Kirbopher and XTheDarkOne / Tom Livesey, but helping to re-platform them and continue on with their careers (shown below).

Responses

On August 8th, 2023, KaiserNeko QRT the initial post by Tara, stating that he needed to sit on it for a minute, and posting his own document^[6]. In his document he distanced himself further from all of the alleged associates and abusers, and states that as part of a company his ability to speak publicly on the matters previously was limited. Fans of his, however, were quick to pick at different parts of the document and attack KaiserNeko for the reasons given (shown below).

Later that night, LittleKuriboh uploaded his own document^[7] pushing back against the allegations that he was aware of the issue and not only did nothing to stop it, but was directly associating with the accused after the initial allegations and proof came out. In his document, LittleKuriboh provided a screenshot of emails sent to him by another accused individual, ShadyVox / Blake Swift, showing his complete disavowing of the person. After KaiserNeko QRT the post, fans began to dig through LittleKuriboh's response for information against TeamFourStar, while others said that LittleKuriboh not publicly disavowing at the time of the original allegations wasn't a good look.
