Ludwig Chessboxing 2022 refers to the Mogul Chessboxing event that took place on December 11th, 2022, at the Galen Center in Los Angeles, which was created by YouTuber Ludwig. The influencer boxing event featured nine fights in which the competitors, all social media influencers or streamers, would alternate between two-minute rounds of chess with 90-second rounds of boxing, with the person who is TKO'd, KO'd or checkmated being declared the loser of both.

On September 23rd, 2022, YouTuber Ludwig revealed his next live event, a "chessboxing" competition featuring several streamers who haven't been seen in a physical showcase like this before. The reveal was later posted to his clips channel,[1] where it went on to get over 240,000 views in three months (shown below).

Mogul Chessboxing Event

The boxing-chess crossover event took place on December 11th, 2022, at the Galen Center in Los Angeles with the entire event streamed on Ludwig's YouTube[1] channel, which instantly became a VOD after the end of the stream. The video was then viewed over 3 million times during the live portion and afterward in just under 20 hours (shown below).

Before the chessboxing portion had commenced, Ludwig hosted a "Smashboxing" championship beforehand, during which competitors played Super Smash Brothers with boxing taking place between rounds. The solo VOD of this event received over 200,000 views in roughly 20 hours since being posted separately from the main event's video (shown below).
