Overview
Nick Fuentes Doxxing refers to the doxxing of far-right political commentator and groyper Nicholas J. Fuentes, which followed his posting of the controversial phrase, "Your body, my choice," in the aftermath of Donald Trump winning the 2024 United States Presidential Election in early November 2024. Following the doxxing and spread of Fuentes' personal information online, including his home address and phone number, a 57-year-old woman purportedly showed up at his house, with Fuentes allegedly reacting by pepper spraying her and pushing her down the stairs after she rang his doorbell.
Background
On November 5th, 2024, controversial far-right political pundit Nick Fuentes[1] posted a tweet that read, "Your body, my choice. Forever," a play on the bodily autonomy and pro-choice slogan, "My body, my choice." The post (shown below) gathered over 90.7 million views, 35,000 reposts and 51,000 likes in three days.
The tweet ignited controversy online as many, especially women, expressed their disagreement and repulsion with Fuentes' rhetoric.
On November 8th, 2024, X[2] / Twitter user @brooke_urself22 doxxed Fuentes in response to the post, sharing his personal information, including his home address in Chicago, Illinois, and his phone number (censored version shown below). The post was removed approximately three hours later. The same address was previously leaked online in 2022.[3]
In the following days, Fuentes' leaked home address and phone number were actively spread on X and other social media, which inspired memes and discussions.
Developments
On November 10th, 2024, Facebook[4] user Marla Rose, a 57-year-old Illinois resident, wrote that on that day she took a trip to Fuentes' house and shot a video of the house from the sidewalk. According to the post, Rose then proceeded to ring the doorbell, with Fuentes swinging open the door, using pepper spray or mace on her and pushing her down the stairs onto the sidewalk. Fuentes then allegedly proceeded to take Rose's phone and walk back inside the house, locking the door (post shown below).
In the post, Rose shared several photographs of the purported incident, including images of Fuentes pointing an object at the camera and an image of Fuentes taken from the phone lying on the ground (shown below, top and bottom).
The story and the images of the encounter were widely circulated online, including X[5][6] reposts by users @Gadget44027447 and @lporiginalg on November 11th that garnered over 680 reposts and 8,100 likes, respectively, in less than 24 hours (former post shown below).
On November 12th, 2024, Marla Rose uploaded the 27-second-long video of the incident to her Facebook[9] page. The video shows Nick Fuentes swinging open the door as Rose reaches to the doorbell, immediately using mace or pepper spray on her, and Rose falling onto the ground. Fuentes then rudely tells Rose to get out of here, proceeds to pick up her phone and walk back inside the house, throwing the phone against the floor and kicking it with his leg before picking it up again.
- Hi- oh my god, what are you doing?
- Get the fuck out of here!
On November 13th, 2024, VICE[10] published an interview with Marla Rose in which she relayed the story and said that she was unsure about pressing charges against Fuentes.
Online Reactions
The doxxing and the November 10th, 2024, incident at Nick Fuentes' house both became the subject of memes and discussions online in mid-November 2024. For example, on November 10th, X[7] user @iLoveDikk posted a GIF caption meme that garnered over 8,200 reposts and 149,000 likes in two days (shown below).
On November 11th, 2024, X[8] user @AetiusRF used posted a meme referencing both Fuentes using allegedly using pepper spray against Marla Rose and the Robert J. O'Neill "Concubines" tweet. The post (shown below) received over 1,400 reposts and 28,000 likes in one day.
