Overview

One-Punch Man Season 3 Animation Quality Discourse refers to discourse surrounding the quality of the animation in the third season of the anime series One-Punch Man, with some fans claiming that the animation looks cheap and lazy, consisting largely of "talking scenes" and still frames, similar to the Uzumaki anime animation backlash from the year prior. The controversy began on October 12th, 2025, after the release of the first episode of the season, as critical viewers shared examples of what they saw as bad animation in the episode online. Fans of the show remained hopeful that the fight and action scenes would be of higher quality. Three days after its premiere, it was reported that the show's recap, which consists of old footage, gained more positive reviews overall than the first episode. A clip of Garou walking was used as a prime example of the poor animation quality online.
