If We Win I'll Sit On Your Face refers to a series of videos and photoshops based on an edit of a One Punch Man strip in which the character Tatsumaki says to Genos, "If we win, I'll sit on your face," causing Genos to rise triumphantly from being knocked to the ground.

Origin

In Chapter 147 of One Punch Man, released June 14th, 2021,^[1] the character Genos gets hit, causing Tatsumaki to cry "Genos!" Genos then rises from the ground, ready to fight (shown below, left). On June 18th, Twitter user @RakeemSpoon^[2] posted an edit of the panel in which Tatsumaki cries, "If we win, I'll sit on your face!", gaining over 3,300 retweets and 25,000 likes (shown below, right).

Spread

On July 9th, 2021 YouTuber "I didn't ask to be born" posted a video that set the edited panel to Shae OT's "Super Smash Brothers Brawl Drill Remix"^[3] (shown below, left). A higher-res version of the video was posted on August 10th by user RandomGuy, gaining over 5.5 million views.^[4] The song would become a standard feature of later edits: on December 10th, YouTuber Wedishi Kun posted a meme edit of the One Punch Man anime using the song (shown below, right).
