Everyone Can Be Redeemed!, continued Hello Sir, Welcome to the…, refers to an exploitable meme format in which Hazbin Hotel character Charlie Morningstar states that every soul in Hell can be redeemed but makes a 1000-yard-stare Stare upon seeing a new guest at her hotel. The format achieved virality on Reddit and X / Twitter in late February 2024.

Origin

In the Hazbin Hotel animated series, the character Charlie Morningstar (the princess of Hell) is the owner and manager of the titular hotel, which aims to rehabilitate sinner demons.

On February 24th, 2024, Redditor WarioSuperFan posted a four-panel meme comprised of three images of Charlie Morningstar, including a 1000-yard stare edit of her, and an image of Fiddlebert, a fake Pikmin character created by the Pikmin community in 2023. In the meme, Charlie comments that every soul can be redeemed but is visibly traumatized upon seeing Fiddlebert arrive at her hotel. The post (shown below) received over 250 upvotes in the /r/Pikmin^[1] subreddit in one week (shown below).

Spread

On February 26th, 2024, Redditor Poetess-of-Darkness posted the earliest edit of the original meme, replacing the image of Fiddlebert with Adolf Hitler. The post (shown below) garnered over 5,200 upvotes in the /r/hazbin^[2] subreddit in four days.

In the following days, the format achieved popularity in the /r/hazbin subreddit, later spreading to other Reddit communities. For example, on February 26th, Redditor No_Alternative_2762 posted a meme referencing Verbalase's $50K Hazbin Hotel AMV that received over 420 upvotes in /r/hazbin^[3] in four days (shown below, left).

Later that day, Redditor A-Yandere-Succubus posted a Berserk meme that garnered over 2,900 upvotes in the /r/berserk^[4] subreddit four days (shown below, right).

The format saw further spread outside of Reddit in late February 2024, with notable posts appearing on X^[5] and iFunny.^[6]
