Squished Adam is a chibi version of the angel character Adam from Hazbin Hotel drawn by the show's animation lead Logoblockz. The drawing was shared on X (Twitter) in late December 2022 and became the subject of memes, animations and other fan content in early 2024.

Origin

On December 31st, 2022, X^[1] user and animation lead for Hazbin Hotel Logoblockz shared chibi designs for the show's characters Adam and Lutes, writing, "@VivziePop and I made these chibis for the work chat 😇," garnering over 4,300 likes in just over a year (shown below).

Spread

Squished Adam became increasingly popularized among Hazbin Hotel fans in 2024, inspiring fan content and art. On February 13th, 2024, TikToker^[2] @koishiexe posted an animation using Squished Adam that gained over 1.5 million views in a month (shown below, left).

On February 18th, TikToker^[3] @zombies_commander posted a cosplay video in which they dress as Adam then squish the video to make themselves resemble Squished Adam, garnering over 740,000 views in a month (shown below, right).

On February 21st, 2024, Redditor u/wxda99 posted several images of a Squished Adam figurine they created out of Cosclay to /r/HazbinHotel,^[4] garnering over 1,300 upvotes in a month (shown below, left). On March 6th, Tumblr^[5] user lovegiroke posted a meme referencing both Squished Adam and Curse Cat Alastor, garnering over 2,500 notes in two weeks (shown below, right).
