About
First Time Wearing a Scarf or They All Chant In Unison refers to a series of TikTok memes using the phrasal template, "First time wearing X in public. Everyone knows I don't wear X. 'He's not a real X wearer' they all chant unison," with "X" being an article of clothing or accessory that the person is wearing for the first time. The memes were popularized on TikTok throughout late November and December 2024 and are often set to the song "Scott Pilgrim V. My Gpa" by Mom Jeans.
