Santino Lee, or "Happy Negro" as he was named by Anonymous, was originally a porn star from the site bangbus. He became well known to internet users, as his quirky smile and pink bandanna made him a prime target for photoshopping.
Along with the Cockmongler, Pedobear, Caturday, and Rickrolling, Happy Negro is considered by 4chan's users to be one of their earliest and greatest memes.
