Hey Guys, It's Nicole is a popular opening phrase by YouTuber Nichole337. Her introductions have been the subject of various remix and parody videos.
Origin
The earliest known usage of the phrase come from Nichole337's video "My Explaination To Some Of Your Questions," which was uploaded on August 15th, 2010. Within eight years, the video (shown below) has received more than 312,000 views.
Spread
On February 1st, 2012, Nichole337 uploaded a compilation video, cutting together the many times she used the expression. The post (shown below, left) received more than 5.5 million views in six years.
Days later, on February 4th, YouTuber Torrie Hansen posted a parody compilation of Nichole337's introduction. The post (shonw below, right) received more than 76,000 views in six years.
On March 4th, 2014, YouTuber Laurie Mills posted a video of an elderly man lip syncing to someone saying "hey guys, it's Nichole." The post (shown below) received more than 35,000 views in four years.
