Hey Pretty Girl Can I Get a Taste of That Candy or I Come With Nuts is a webcomic by artist @skaroy_wav in which a man asks a person presumed to be a woman dressed as a blue M&M if he can taste her candy. The person asks if the man has any allergies and says, "because I come with nuts," followed by a bisexuality flag appearing behind the man as he smiles. The comic was posted to X in October 2023 and became the subject of edits over the following months.

Origin

On October 21st, 2023, X^[1] user @skaroy_wav posted a comic in which his OC Darren,^[8]dressed as Little Mac from Punch-Out!!!, hits on another OC, Garrett^[9] dressed as a blue M&M and presenting feminine. Garrett then asks him if he has allergies "because I come with nuts,". The Darren then smiles as a bi-sexual flag appears behind him. The comic gained over 101,000 likes in nine months (shown below).

The comic was questioned as being potentially transphobic by some, who took issue with the punchline where the bisexuality flag appears behind Darren. In their view, the punchline implies a man who is attracted to a feminine person with testicles cannot be heterosexual.

The comic has been frequently reposted, often without the last two panels. The was posted to /r/egg_irl^[2] on October 31st, 2023, garnering over 2,800 upvotes in nine months. Multiple users noted the comic depicted two cis men, and the post was later removed. On the same day, it was reposted by /r/Egg_irl_bot,^[3] garnering over 8,000 likes in the same span of time, with multiple users noting the comic depicted two cis men. The post inspired several edits. For example, on November 3rd, X^[4][5] users @FrotniteGuy and @M1das_OW2 posted edits that gained over 1,000 likes and 8,600 likes respectively in eight months (shown below, left and right).

On July 11th, 2024 u/Free_Addition7653 posted a bone hurting juice edit of the meme to /r/bonehurtingjuice,^[6] garnering over 11,000 upvotes in a day (shown below, left). Another version of the meme was posted to the same subreddit^[7] again that day, garnering over 3,200 upvotes in a day (shown below, right).
