Hiker Chuggaacontroy refers to a dance by YouTuber and Let's Player Chuggaaconroy he did during his play through of Pokémon Black and White. After the episode featuring the dance was aired, other YouTubers created parodies and remixes of the scene.

Origin

On February 10th, 2018, YouTuber Chuggaaconroy (real name: Emiliano Rodolfo Rosales-Birou) uploaded Part 40 of his Pokemon Black and White play through. During the video, he demonstrated the dance he does whenever the theme for the Hiker character in the game plays (shown below).

It's just a silly little song, and I like how it sounds, and I thought that that was a very fitting visual for it… I just kinda started doing [the dance] every time I heard [the song]

Shortly after the video was uploaded, Chuggaaconroy's fans began making parodies and fan art of Hiker Chuggaaconroy's dance. On the 10th, YouTuber Mr. ToadTheGamer uploaded a 1-hour loop of the dance, gaining 16,000 views (shown below, left). On the 11th, YouTuber GamerLink5 uploaded a compilation of visuals with the music, gaining over 7,700 views (shown below, right).

On the 10th, Twitter user @Maci_Lena^[1] posted an illustration of the moment, gaining 55 retweets and 590 likes on Twitter (shown below, left). Twitter user @Kking_64^[2] uploaded fan art as well on that day, gaining over 140 retweets and 1,000 likes (shown below, right).
