About

Hit Em refers to a series of original electronic music compositions inspired by a tweet from X / Twitter user @DDDrewDaniel, who claimed he had a dream in which a girl told him about a genre called "Hit Em" that is "in 5/4 time at 212 bpm with super crunched out sounds." The tweet in late July 2024 inspired electronic music composers to attempt to make beats within those parameters, with several of the compositions spreading widely on Twitter.
