About

Homer Simpson Beer Opener, also known as Mmm Beer, are videos involving audio taken from a talking beer opener that was released in 2003, and uses the voice of Homer Simpson from The Simpsons. The beer opener resulted in fan animations using the audio from it, as well as parody posts that use other characters voices as beer opener sounds.

Origin

The first Homer Simpson beer opener video was posted to YouTube by B3RS3RK3R666[1] on January 3rd, 2008, which demonstrates how the beer opener normally sounds. The video (shown below) received over 88,000 views in fifteen years.

A second video of the beer opener was posted to YouTube by chaoscontroldigizine[2] on November 26th, 2008. However, the beer opener used had dying batteries which caused Homer's voice to become very garbled and distorted. The video (shown below) received over 3.3 million views in over fourteen years.
