About
Honey, Tell Me What's Wrong refers to an exploitable three-panel stock photography which sees a woman asking a perturbed man "honey, tell me what's wrong." The man then says something which causes the woman to put her hands on her head as they both think "Oh, fuck!"
Origin
On March 18th, 2018, Instagram user @bearboob[3] uploaded a joke with the shocking phrase reading "'Queue' is just 'Q' followed by four silent letters," gaining more than 16,000 likes.
Spread
On March 22nd, 2018, Twitter user @PTSDGuts[2] shared the image and received more than 83,000 retweets and 150,000 likes.
On March 27th, 2018, Redditor Blitzor_ uploaded the example to /r/me_irl,[1] making the three separate images one long image. The post gained over 21,000 upvotes (shown below).
The format began spreading with different iterations following the Reddit post. The template began spreading on Imgur afterwards (shown below, left). User frocharocha uploaded an anime edit on March 29th, 2018, gaining 2,000 upvotes (shown below, left).
On April 4th, 2018, an example was posted in an Imgur meme dump that gained over 3,200 likes (shown below, left). On Facebook page Philippine Memes for Well Educated Teens, a post featuring the meme gained over 100 reactions (shown below, right)
