On March 9th, 2025, TikTok^[1] user @.lovebhug posted a sped-up video of a horse agressively shaking his head up and down under Bjork’s song "Pagan Poetry." The video (seen below) amassed 8 million plays and 2 million likes in a month.

A day after the video was posted, TikTok^[2] user @t0mmy commented on the video, writing, "me when I’m the Horse of agreement and understanding," which later inspired other jokes and memes about the horse videos. The comment received roughly 73,000 likes in a month.

On March 29th, 2025, TikTok^[4] user @farmensaladdin posted a version of the meme using a video of a horse nodding his head left and right, writing, Horse of disapproval and discouragement. The post (seen below) received more than 4 million plays and 1.3 million likes in four days.
