The phrase was first used in 2022, captioning an image of a woman kissing a dinosaur with an alien watching in the background. Going into the 2020s, the phrase was repeatedly used on Twitter / X and elsewhere, mostly used to caption images of food.

Origin

On May 26th, 2022, iFunnier ^[1] @Captain_Stegosaurus posted an image showing a woman kissing a dinosaur with an alien watching, captioned, "How this make you feel white boy?" (shown below). The image earned two smiles in two years. It is currently the first discovered upload of the meme. Although unconfirmed, the round cropping of the meme's inner edge hints that it's a cropped screenshot of a tweet.

Spread

Going into 2022, the catchphrase received variant usage. For instance, on August 15th, 2022, the gimmick account @shirtsthtgohard tweeted^[2] a T-shirt with the phrase, showing two crudely drawn Minions performing backshots, gaining over 56,000 likes in two years (censored screenshot shown below, left).

On November 26th, 2022, X^[3] user @xyanaid tweeted a drawing of YouTuber Cr1TiKaL kissing Chainsaw Man character Himeno, gaining over 32,000 likes in two years (shown below, right).

Reposts of the original meme surfaced on Tumblr^[4] and Instagram^[5] in late 2022 and early 2023.

Original iterations persisted in 2023, such as a quote shared by X^[6] user @BirdRespecter on June 11th, 2023, that ratioed political commentator Ben Shapiro, receiving over 55,000 likes in 11 months (shown below, left).

Viral posts using the catchphrase continued to surface in 2024, evident in a post shared by X^[7] user @omnipotnce on April 30th, 2024, who captioned an image of tacos, receiving over 17,000 likes in three weeks (shown below, right).
