On July 11th, 2025, Thicki Lake, one of the hosts of the podcast High Maintenance, discussed how her date insisted on riding the mechanical bull at a bar, leaving her wondering why she would enter a "ride off" with her man. Lake's Bee agreed, saying, "The mechanical bull is for women to show their ass and that's it." The segment can be seen on a post to the podcast's X[1] account from July 11th, 2025.
