Origin

On May 5th, 2021, Twitter user @boss_on_here^[1] tweeted, "My tummy hurts but im being so brave about it," gaining over 12,000 retweets and 86,000 likes (shown below).

Spread

The post became a common copypasta over the following weeks, as multiple users reposted it or posted slight variations of it.^[2] On May 30th, 2021, iFunny^[3] user LolaBit posted a They Don't Know variation inspired by the tweet (shown below, left). On July 19th, @meowmeowmia^[4] tweeted a variation of the post imposed onto a group of Wojaks, gaining over 15,000 retweets and 136,000 likes (shown below, right).
