I Laced Yo Shit refers to a humorous MS Paint drawing of the extremely stoned cartoon character Samurai Jack smoking a marijuana joint with his nemesis demon Aku appearing from the joint to tell him that he laced it with drugs. Originally shared on Tumblr in September 2024, the drawing inspired redraws in February 2025.

Origin

On September 8th, 2024, Tumblr^[1] user @assfuckmcgriddle posted a simplistic humorous Samurai Jack fan art depicting the titular character very stoned while smoking marijuana and the antagonist Aku appearing from the joint and telling Jack that he had laced it. The post (shown below) received over 4,000 likes and relogs on Tumblr in five months.

Spread

In the following months, the image spread through reposts. On September 9th, 2024, Facebook^[2] user Joe Rivera reposted the image, with the post garnering over 80 reactions and 650 likes in five months.

On September 21st, iFunny^[3] user WotansStrongestDilator88 reposted the image, with their post gaining over 5,100 smiles on the platform in five months.

On February 4th, 2025, X^[4] / Twitter user @YMWyungbug reposted the image, with their post going viral and gaining over 3.4 million views, 14,000 reposts and 150,000 likes in two days.

Starting on February 5th, 2025, users on X / Twitter shared redraw memes based on the artwork, replacing Jack and Aku with characters from other media.

For example, on February 5th, X^[5] user @shaadowmilk posted a Cookie Run: Kingdom version of the meme that received over 1,100 reposts and 6,400 likes in one day (shown below).

Later on February 5th, 2025, X^[6] user @sto_court posted a version of the meme which replaced Jack and Aku with Twilight Sparkle and Discord from My Little Pony. The post received over 2,300 reposts and 18,000 likes in one day.
