I Like You, Have A Cupcake meme and scene from Fish Hooks.

About

I Like You, Have A Cupcake refers to a viral audio clip of Fish Hooks character Albert Glass giving two students cupcakes, saying, "I like you, have a cupcake," to each, then uncomfortably groaning at the third person and ignoring them, deeming them unliked and leaving them without a cupcake before giving a cupcake to a fourth character. The audio clip became popular on TikTok as an original sound in July 2021, used in lip-dub skits to showcase people or things a TikToker does and doesn't like. The sound inspired the Smack My Ass Like A Drum spinoff sound, consisting of a mashup of the original sound and the song "Vagina" by CupcakKe.

Origin

On January 29th, 2011, season 1, episode 18 of Disney's Fish Hooks aired,[1] titled "Fishing for Compliments: The Albert Glass Story." In the episode, it is Glass' birthday, so he gives out cupcakes in class. Before giving a cupcake to each classmate, he says, "I like you, have a cupcake," however, when he gets to the character Bea, he floats over her, groaning uncomfortably the whole time. He gives another fish a cupcake after that (shown below).

On July 22nd, 2021, TikToker[2] @chrisevanssonsgf posted a video of the clip with each character labeled as a different photo of Chris Evans, putting Chris Evans with a mustache in the place of Bea to show their distaste for that look of his, gaining over 8 million views in three weeks (shown below).
