If You Read This I'm Free On Thursday Night is a copypasta and phrasal template meme that stems from a viral Tumblr text post that reads, "Rihanna if you read this im free on Thursday night and would like to hang out. Please respond to this and then hang out with me on Thursday night when I’m free." The meme is generally used in reference to various celebrities and was first posted in June 2015.

On June 8th, 2015, Tumblr^[1] user @renaissance posted a text post that read, "Rihanna if you read this I'm free on Thursday night and would like to hang out. Please respond to this and then hang out with me on Thursday night when I’m free." The post gathered over 157,000 notes in eight years (seen below). The post then become a phrasal template meme in which Rihanna's name was replaced with the celebrity of one's choice.
