About
I'm A Villain, Not A Monster refers to a viral TikTok sound originally used in a video showing a Venom action figure and a Hulk action figure kissing. It was later used for other action figures from Spider-Man and Marvel comics as well as for VR scenarios that referenced other video games, TV shows and movies.
Origin
In November 2021, TikToker rasikgotgrub posted a video (since-deleted) that showed a Venom action figure talking to a The Hulk action figure, explaining to him that he's a villain, not a monster. To prove the difference between the words, Venom embraced The Hulk with a kiss. Underneath everything, Mac DeMarco's "Chamber Of Reflection" is playing. The video received an unknown amount of likes because it was deleted by rasikgotgrub after its audio was removed. Rasikgotgrub reuploaded the TikTok[1] on November 26th, 2022, earning roughly 7.8 million plays and 1.6 in ten months, however, the audio of the reupload was also removed.
On November 28th, 2021, the TikTok was reposted to YouTube by the channel Lord random clips in which the original audio can still be heard. Over the course of ten months, the YouTube video received roughly 12,800 views (shown below).
The Hulk: Just kill me already.
Venom: I'm a villain, not a monster. *kisses Hulk*
Spread
