I'm Done With The Conversation Now or I'm Sat refers to a viral scene from Love Island season three where Olivia tells Chris she's done with the conversation, Chris tells Olivia to "sit back down," and she responds, "I'm sat." The clip was uploaded to TikTok in November 2021 and went viral in May 2022 in a series of lip dubs where attractive or ironically attractive characters tell people to sit down and they do.

Origin

On June 5th, 2017, season three of the U.K. version of Love Island began airing on television. In one scene in the season, Chris and Olivia have a discussion in a bedroom. Olivia angrily tells Chris, "I'm done with the conversation now." Chris responds, "Sit back down," even though she's already sitting and she responds, "I'm sat." The clip was uploaded to YouTube[1] by Holly Fry on July 29th, 2018, gaining over 50,000 views in four years. On November 8th, 2021, TikToker[2] @22cute_ posted the clip, gaining over 2.3 million views in six months (shown below).

Starting in April 2022 the original audio from @22cute_'s video started going viral on TikTok in lip-dub skits where a TikToker lip dubs to Olivia's line, followed by showing an image of an attractive celebrity or character over Chris's as if they're telling them to sit back down, followed by the TikToker quickly sitting down. On April 29th, 2022, TikToker[3] @eveisnttrappy posted a video like this using celebrity Kit Connor, gaining over 658,000 views in two weeks (shown below).

On May 6th, TikToker[4] @lohandakkota posted a video using images of Jake Gyllenhal, gaining over 1.1 million views in five days (shown below, left). On May 8th, TikToker[5] @__tengens4thwife posted an ironic version of the trend using an image of Jake Sully from Avatar, gaining over 10.1 million views in three days (shown below, right).

On May 10th, the official Lionsgate TikTok[6] account posted a version of the meme using the Tracksuit Robert Pattinson Standing In The Kitchen meme, gaining over 2.4 million views in under 24 hours (shown below).
