Overview
The I'm Just a Kid trend is a trend of people recreating old photos from their childhood, it was started by none other than the Canadian pop-punk band "Simple Plan"!
Song
The song "I'm Just a Kid" was on Simple Plan's 2002 debut album "No Pads, No Helmets, Just Balls…" and the music video was created on April (unknown day), 2002, directed by Smith N' Borin… When the trend started, the song was resurfaced on TikTok, meaning Gen Z/Gen Alpha discovered this song already and joined in on the trend too…

On April (unknown day), 2020, Simple Plan started the #ImJustAKidChallenge, while unknown who uploaded the first one, we can all agree it was Simple Plan who've uploaded it…
